Yes! The deposit does go towards the cost of the tattoo.
All deposits are non refundable. However, your deposit is able to be transferred ONCE to a new date if a schedule conflict occurs and you notify me within 48 hours of your appointment.
I try to. I ask that you please keep in mind that it is just an estimate based on the info I was given. It is not a set price. Keep in mind that many things change from the first time we talk until I’m tattooing you. Final size, design, placement, etc will all come into play. I do try to give estimates because I myself need them for anything I’m trying to purchase.
Yes. I also send you a mock-up of the design 1-2 days before your appointment. I never want a client to get a piece they don’t LOVE and I feel like it’s much easier for a client to request a change to their design over email than it is in person. Also, finalizing the design ahead of time helps keep the appointment time down which also helps me keep my pricing lower.
Tiny changes can be made at your appointment but any larger changes will need to be made beforehand.
Starting 2023 I will no longer accept Venmo. I accept Zelle, Apple Pay, and Cash.
(Deposits can be paid this way as well)
After sending your deposit & filling out the tattoo request form you can now sit back, relax & count down the days to your appointment. I will reach out the week of your appointment & go over any questions I have about your design. After it is drawn up, I will send it to you 1-2 days before your appointment so you can request any changes until it is perfect for you!
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that exposes the area of the tattoo (or can be adjusted to expose the area of the tattoo). Don’t forget to wear something you don’t mind potentially getting stained. Loose dresses, boxer shorts, and tube tops are all options, depending on what area you’re having tattooed. Make sure your comfortable & wear layers so as you get hot/cold you can adjust.
If you are getting a tattoo in an area you will have to take clothing off, make sure to bring something if you are uncomfortable being exposed for example pasties.
I specialize in black + grey scale. I will add pops of color or do linework in color, but if you would like a shaded color piece I would send you to a traditional tattooist that specializes in color work.
Yes! You can bring a friend or family member with you as long as they are 18+ (No children allowed state laws)
I only ask that you choose someone that will help + support you during the process. If they are going to stress you I wouldn’t bring them. I want you to enjoy the process as much as you do the final piece!
Comfortability is #1 to me! So we can turn on any music you’d like. But if you’d prefer to tune out bring some head phones. Water + a snack if it’s a longer appointment. If there’s any items like a blanket that will bring your comfort, bring them! We can chat during the tattoo or you can bring your phone or book to distract you!
Yes. My minimum is $100. This is for both your protection + mine. I make sure to insure a clean environment, pleasant experience, as well as top of the line machinery + products.
A shop minimum allows me to create this same experience, every time.
Yes! Large tattoos can be broken into sessions.
You decide what your comfortable with and decide whether you want to go all day or just plan for multiple sessions.
If we do break up your appointments I ask that you book it within 1 month so everything can heal cohesively.
I do not offer it or keep it on hand. Ive Learned that most people don’t need it + it does make your skin slightly more red/inflamed. If you do feel you need numbing cream, make sure to research good brands. Apply as directed and bring the numbing cream to your appointment.
